Is your makeup safe from nanoparticles?

Nanoparticles are smaller than 100 nanometers (one thousandth of a millimeter or the width of human DNA) . The ultra-small size of nanoparticles can have detrimental consequences because many chemicals behave differently when broken down into nanoparticles. Normal inactive or inert substances can trigger potentially harmful chemical reactions when turned into nanoparticles.

Nanoparticles should not be in your cosmetics or makeup because at a size smaller than an average human hair, the nanoparticles can penetrate the skin and enter your body. Unfortunately, once absorbed, the body cannot easily eliminate nanoparticles which may dramatically increase their long-term risks.

Many cosmetics companies include nanoparticles in their makeup, we are not one of those. All are products are safe cosmetics and thus do not contain nanoparticles or any other ingredients that may be harmful to you.
